Chris’s Story

During his teenage years, God appeared as a distant concept to Chris, until a challenging season led him to a profound personal encounter with God at a local youth group. It was in this pivotal moment that Chris discovered God's realness, goodness, and the transformative power to cleanse his past.

Driven by a newfound passion, Chris eagerly engaged in serving and leading in various capacities. His journey began as a high schooler delivering one of his first sermons at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting, resulting in three friends embracing faith in Jesus. This marked the beginning of Chris's realization that God was calling him to a lifelong commitment to ministry.

In the years that followed, Chris served in a number of youth ministry related roles. Presently, Chris resides in Greensboro, NC, with his wife Jenna, serving as the College Ministry Pastor at Definition Church. Together, they have devoted their lives to impacting the next generation.

In addition to his local ministry, Chris travels extensively, sharing insightful and relatable teachings at church services, youth camps, D-Now events, and various gatherings. His global outreach includes working with churches worldwide, aiding in the development of vibrant youth ministries in churches in other countries. Annually, Chris leads teams to Ecuador and the Philippines, organizing youth camps for local churches and communities.

Above all, Chris's profound desire is to witness the next generation undergo personal revival and transformation through a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.” - Acts 20:24
